I took some info from a Harry Potter list being discussed at AfD [[1]], and flushed out this dab page. Since the discussion is ongoing and there was an objection to what was essentially a merge, it was reverted, so I'm including s link to my version here for future editors.[[2]]. I strongly object to these changes. For a start, this just about duplicates Outline of Harry Potter (to the point where I'm a bit concerned about copyright considerations but this can be fixed). As I said in the AfD discussion, "I don't think anyone could possibly expect to be redirected to The Tales of Beedle the Bard and Magical Objects in Harry Potter (for example) by entering "Harry Potter" in the search bar". Dab pages exist only for the purposes of aiding navigation and so less is more: if I came here looking for Harry Potter (journalist), and particularly if I was a casual reader or not internet savvy, it would either take me a full minute to locate the right section, or I would just give up. The page is supposed to be about the articles for which "Harry Potter" is "a reasonably likely topic name", but no-one in their right mind would refer specifically to the fifth book (when distinguishing it from the other six books) as "Harry Potter", and Tanya Grotter is not known by the name "Harry Potter" (etc.). The page is cluttered and unhelpful; if anyone is looking for these links then they are better off navigating to a broad page and then the specific one (e.g. Harry Potter and then in the infobox the link to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is immediately obvious), rather than scrolling through this mess. — Bilorv(c)(talk) 02:05, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
