Buttrick Hall

When it was originally constructed, this building was named for Wallace Buttrick of the General Education Board, not for George Arthur Buttrick. The General Education Board provided major funds for the building of several buildings on the Vanderbilt campus between World Wars I and II. The clergyman George Arthur Buttrick had no connection to Vanderbilt until much later. --Zeamays (talk) 03:00, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
