Official dressmaker

In the opening paragraph it says he becomes the queens official dressmaker ibn 1952 and then nearer the end of the article it says this happened in 1955 . Neither claim is sourced. Article is unfocused

This article is more a biography of Amies than an overview of the Hardy Amies brand. Relatively little is included about the brand's history outside of Amies, whereas his projects outside of the brand are described in detail. For instance - as far as I can tell, the fashion house Hardy Amies is unconnected to 2001: A Space Odyssey, other than that the brand's founder designed its costumes. Including it in this article is like including 2001: A Space Odyssey in an article about Queen Elizabeth II's style - they share a designer, but have no connection otherwise. There is already an article about Amies himself, making most of the content here irrelevant. Remainsuncertain (talk) 22:28, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
