Bob Holly: Racecar driver?

Maybe this is me buying too much into the "Sparky Plugg" gimmick, but I was under the impression Holly was indeed a stock car racer before becomming a wrestler. Any truth to that? --UsaSatsui 00:45, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I also think a mention of the "Well over 400 lbs" gimmick should be mentioned.

I heard that the Sparky Plugg was born out of the fact that Bob Holly was a registered NASCAR driver actually. I'll add some history for the "Superheavyweight" gimmick. --Jtalledo (talk) 21:07, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
But was -this- Bob Holly a NASCAR driver? If he was, certainly that deserves some mention beyond a gimmick. He probably wasn't a very good one, if he turned to wrestling. --UsaSatsui 00:45, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
From what I understand, this Bob Holly was a registered race car driver while he was a wrestler. --Jtalledo (talk) 02:34, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I remember the first vignettes, when they showed footage of Holly racing. They followed that for a while and then dropped it.(Halbared 09:33, 16 April 2006 (UTC))

MSRA/MRSA?

Shouldn't it be shortened to MRSA as opposed to MSRA? IanPCP 22:05, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Alabama Slam

Why is the subtitle "Waterwheel slam" if the move is technically called the Alabama Slam? Cheers, Dubbya9 07:02, 4 August 2006 (UTC) Cus it was only named Alabama Slam because of Holly previously it was best known as a water wheel slam --- Paulley

Tough Enough

Wasn't Bob Holly a trainer on Tough Enough? Julie 05:50, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Ye he was, for some reason tv.com have two profiles for him, the first who ever added him for Tough Enough added tv.com William Howard profile obviously thinking his middle name is his first name, which has him as a star for Tough Enough. His main profile is tv.com Robert Howard. I shall tell the admins on tv.com to see if they can fix it. Govvy 12:23, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Theme Song

I'd just like to point out that the theme song Holly uses now (How do You Like Me Now) is not the same song used in the commericals that the article says it was. Although I can only persoanlly confirm the Beavis and Butthead commerical, that song is a production track that was used as Holly's entrance music for a while, up until Johnston composed "How do You Like Me Now!" which is similar, but not the same song

Holly on Raw?

I read on a wrestling website [[1]] that he wrestled on Heat. Does that means he's on Raw now? (Mysteryred 09:46, 18 September 2007 (UTC)) he is on raw right now wrestling, it was his "return" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.149.17.134 (talk) 01:25, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Omg dats just so completely stupid wat the heck was the point of him being drafted 2 smackdown if he's been put on RAW!!!!!!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.72.233.105 (talk) 04:51, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

1991 WWF appearance

I don't know how this should be worked in, but I was watching the 3/30/91 episode of WWF Superstars, and Holly appears as a jobber in a tag match against the Bushwhackers. After look at a results site (http://www.angelfire.com/wrestling/cawthon777/91.htm), it seems it was his sole appearance. It's minor, but it may be worth somehow noting that he had made an appearance before his full-fledged debut in 1994. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tvp119 (talkcontribs) 21:02, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Hollycaust / Falcon Arrow

The article states that the Hollycaust/Falcon Arrow (sitout suplex slam) is an active finishing move. I haven't seen him use it in ages, or at least, I can't remember if such a thing did happen. Should it be marked with like, used from xxxx to xxxx or something? --Kaizer13 (talk) 01:06, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

A Date for the Brock Lesnar incident

I don't know why this page is locked, so I was going to edit in a date for the Brock Lesnar incident. I was at that show, and I went and dug up the ticket stub I kept from it. It happened on September 10th, 2002 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I think at least adding a date on there would be better than saying "early 2002." --71.37.236.228 (talk) 19:35, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for that ! Still gives me chills, but I guess that's what you get for sandbagging. --Kaizer13 (talk) 16:07, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Why was this removed?

It is common knowledge that Holly regularly injures other wrestlers like Cappotelli and Dupree and something that should be a focus point of this man's mediocre career. Holly has done nothing of note and is really only famous for his bullying.

because its not true? Rubberchix 22:40, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, it is. I seriously doubt you have ever worked with him. So how would you know? He's a backstage bully, a snitch and a suck up and yeah, he does work stiff. 4:27, 4 November 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.72.84.29 (talk)

Regardless - unless you can give some documentation, references, etc, then it's purely rumour and hearsay. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.101.151.6 (talk) 06:24, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
