Good morning, yesterday Akiva wrote a public status in her Facebook: "Keep me from my lovers, and from my haters I would keep myself". It was her paraphrase for: "Keep me from my haters". Is her status notable in Wikipedia? Thank you. Dgw (talk) 06:05, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

I am not quite sure what is being asked here, but I yield to the temptation to point out that this looks like a version of the Italian proverb Dagli amici mi guardi Iddio, che dai nemici mi guardo io. It sounds really great in Italian, though it's not a great thing to tell your friends. --Trovatore (talk) 06:16, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

Has it been reported in reliable sources? Not every utterance by a person is notable enough for inclusion. By the way this should have been asked at Talk:Hanna Akiva CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 08:30, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

I guess Akiva's own page on Facebook was quite reliable. Here are the guidelines: "As a reliable source: Sometimes. The official page of a subject may be used as a self-published, primary source, but only if it can be authenticated as belonging to the subject".

Akiva is a leader, and wrote it in public.

Here are some utterances of leaders:

Benjamin Netanyahu: "The Arab voters are moving in huge quantities to the ballot box" (17 March 2015).

It has its own article in the Hebrew Wikipedia.

Yasser Arafat: "We will make life miserable for the Jews in psychological warfare and population explosion" (Stockholm speech, 1996).

Akiva had some public utterances is her own Facebook page, and several utterances should be in the article as well. Dgw (talk) 10:25, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

Hi Dgw. You asked me to take a look at the last paragraph, and I'm happy to. The English translation makes sense to me. I personally would delete that paragraph, though. Unless these Facebook statements have been commented on in the press or are otherwise important to a reader of an encyclopedia in understanding Akiva, they seem like trivia. What about this picture which was taken on August 23, 2018? It does not seem much trivial. Akiva is in black, and the post tells about a demonstration on August 28, 2018 in Azrieli Center, Tel Aviv. The goal of a demonstration is to get achievements, not to make people upset, being mocked or inferior. Dgw (talk) 21:28, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
