Notability edit
As the first Vietnamese idol to be in a boy group in Korea, he is notable for taking that step, which has not been done before.
Further, he has activities and promotions outside of the group TEMPEST, Which includes his participation in I-Land in which he gathered over a million votes. Individual notability criteria:
Presumed: As the first Vietnamese idol to be active in a boygroup, he has presumed notability due to this actions, much the same way Nickhun has notability as the first Thai idol.
Significant coverage: He has significant coverage on his individual activities, however brief, on a variety of kpop reporting websites in both korean and english. This coverage includes his solo activities, his fanmeet, his contract moving and his potential for a debut, all separate from his activities in the group.
Reliable: As generally those sources are news, and readily available with little digging the article is reliable.
Sources: Plenty of secondary sources due to his individual coverage. If these aren’t enough I’d be happy to spend a few minutes getting more from others.
Independent of the subject: He is independent of tempest through his I-Land activities, independent of tempest through his solo promotions in 2021 and independent of tempest through his break through status as a Vietnamese artist. This info cannot be accurately portrayed on the group page, promoting another article for him alone.
If you disagree with any of these, please do let me know. But please don’t try and delete the page wholesale without engaging in discussion, I’ve already spoken to an administrator who said he was qualified for an independent page for the reasons stated above.

- Notability because he's Vietnamese Kpop star? That really just a footnote and doesn't explain what he's actually accomplished outside the group. Many idols are on competition shows like I-Land. Where is he notable outside of Tempest? He has no solo career cited. He has no reliable, indepedent, in-depth coverage as an artist. Evaders99 (talk) 22:19, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, the wiki page is due to him being the first male Vietnamese to debut in a Kpop group. That is notable. You don't need solo career credentials to be noted for notability whilst in a Kpop group. He's not notable outside of Tempest currently. However, the wiki page was made because of him being the first male Vietnamese to debut in a Kpop group, which is significant in several ways, because despite the Thai idols in Kpop, Korea had/has a anti-Southeast Asian bias, favouring Chinese/Japanese instead in terms of foreign idols. So, my reason is that him being the first Vietnamese male idol makes it quite significant.
