Gwenwynwyn ap OwainGwenwynwyn – This is the form of his name given in the Dictionary of Welsh Biography, the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography and The Kings and Queens of Britain at Oxford Reference. Also, "ap Owain" is incorrect Welsh; the particle is "ab" if it comes before a vowel. There are quite a few results for both Gwenwynwyn ab Owain and Gwenwynwyn ab Owain Cyfeiliog at Google Books, but it seems significant that the biographical dictionaries identify this figure by a WP:SINGLENAME.
