about mollet's controversial proposition, french former Interior Minister Charles Pasqua (Gaullist) said that president de Gaulle -prime minister mollet's successor following the Generals coup of 1958- was totally against socialist mollet's proposal and that what he did was on his sole initiative, Pasqua said what Mollet did could had been considered as "high treason" according to french laws.
