Not_your_siblings'_deletionist seems to focus primarily on tagging articles, but in this case the tag is completely out of order. The article already has strong sourcing, including an article in Scientific American that is written specifically about him. Moreover, this source confirms that he won the Legion of Honour for his scientific work, a conclusive pass of WP:PROF #2. The tag is clearly inappropriate in this case. Thanks!
