Regarding my bio

I'm not sure that there should be a page for me. Since someone else has written one, my professional name is Greg even though my legal name is Gregory John. Also I was at Auburn High for only one year, 1981-1982; my parents were on sabbatical in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the next year. I did attend Auburn city schools from 1974 to 1982. Hehe, there absolutely should be a page about you. I played your games since 83 or 84, and I still have them in dosbox. Today I was thinking: what ever happened to Greg Kuperberg? And lo and behold, the wiki has the answer. Keep up the good work :) melikamp (talk) 19:59, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Oh, I can't believe it! This is JUST why I came here, too, as I was so curious about whether this is the same Greg Kuperberg who wrote these cool games in the '80s. In case you want to know, I stumbled on his name on "MathOverflow" network. And ... @Mr. Kuperberg, just be happy we all gamers-of-the-early-ages still do remember those classics! :) I think I've been through most of this stuff, written by you or not: Buck Rogers (IBM version), Frogger, Big Top (by Michael Abrash coded in about 1982/83), Decathlon and heck knows what else. Cool times, and modesty was our middle name! (Not like: "Developer, please fix this game! Even though I spent about $1000 for my 10 GiB graphics card with 5 trillion colors, it just won't run in 95 FPS, just 85! Greg, I recall that you had been one of the more involved contributors to the now-deleted wikipedia article List of famous people trained in mathematics. I'm not sure if you've retained any interest in the topic since then, but just in case you have, while cleaning house I did come across a related article that you might consider worth a look:

Actually, I just noticed that the author (Buyske) has essentially the same list at [1] . . . there are hardly any updates since he wrote the article. The list at wikipedia was, I seem to recall, larger but there are entries on Buyske's list that were unknown to me.
