Where's the truth? edit

Hi there,

I'm working for the French Wiki, creating all the Coach and GM tables in the NHL franchises pages.

As I was trying to complete Golden Seals', I ran into sth false:

As it is written in the Bert Olmstead's page, he coached the first 64 games, was then replaced by Gord Fashoway. The thing is, the first went 64-11-37-16, good for 38 points. The later then went 10-4-5-1 (9 pts). But if you look at the 1967–68 Oakland Seals season's page, you can see (hockey-reference.com does the same "mistake") that the Golden Seals, after 64 games, were not 11-37-16, but 15-35-14.

So either Bert Olmstead and Gord Fashoway's records are false, or both are true but that means Fashoway replaced Olmstead mid-season before being replaced again by Olmstead (who was also the GM at this time, what would makes sense...). And for Fashoway to have a 10-4-5-1 record, he must have coached the team either between games 19 to 28, 50 to 59 or 51 to 60.

Couldn't figure it out while checking online for an answer. Do anyone as a clue?!

(I copied-paste this question in Talk:Bert Olmstead.)

And according to this source, the whole coach table contains vaguenesses... DS 99 (talk) 16:13, 25 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
