I thought it would be a good idea to start this article because the novel has received a lot of attention in the media. There was a waiting list for it at two libraries I went to. Thank you for the feedback. Book cover upload is beyond me

There is a photo of the book cover here: http://gillian-flynn.com/ but I'm too technologically illiterate to figure out the book cover template upload. Specifically, I see the html for it, and it seems to be calling for me to paste it somewhere, but where this breaks down for me is: 1. I can't figure out where to paste it and 2. I can't figure out where to add the fair use rationale which seems to be already stated in the template, at least to my satisfaction. However, here's a fair use rationale if anyone would like to attempt the upload: "This is a photo of the cover of Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, and we are using it to illustrate an article that is about no subject other than the novel Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Page Evaluation

I would definitely recommend this page for anyone in need of a quick summary about this novel. It is clear and gives the reader a good idea of what the plot and the themes of this novel are.

This was an overall great summary of the book Gone Girl. It gave a very well detailed description of the storyline but, it did however not drag things out. It was short and sweet. There were a few grammatical errors (Comma splices/run on sentences) throughout the summary, but i did however edit these. This summary seems to get the main points across of the novel as it stresses how the story is built around the Dunne's dreadful marriage. It reiterates the important "must knows" of the novel and provides an in depth analysis of the two main characters in their motives. I found this would be extremely helpful for someone interested in gaining knowledge on the book without reading it. However, the summary is defective, leaving it unclear whether (1) Amy uses the Punch and Judy puppets intentionally to toy with Nick, as a clue to him that she will attempt to frame him for her purported murder (as suggested by her leaving vague, inside-joke clues "on their anniversary treasure hunt"), (2) Amy unintentionally helps Nick realize that such a frameup is at hand by his discovery of the puppets, one of them damaged, or (3) the puppets are simply left in the woodshed, together with the incriminating objects, and offer no clue to Amy's intentions.
