Purpose edit

I created this page to be a redirect target for some common shape names, since I noticed that some of them were rediects to weird names, e.,. "V-shaped" redirected to V-shaped valley. `'mikka (t) 04:43, 18 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

U-Shapes (moved from U) edit

Moving the following text here from the letter U page.–Jérôme (talk) 19:05, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Washington Metro's Red Line is U-shaped, with two northern ends, one east of the other.

Bow-shaped edit

I think the bit on bow shape needs looking at. I would say if something is bow-shaped it is curved like a longbow. However, the link is to the bow curve which is a mathematical curve that looks like a bow you might tie in a ribbon. Yaris678 (talk) 17:14, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Balbis edit

H-shaped should include balbis. Chockyegg (talk) 07:59, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

2D square, with square hole in center, of area 25% of the total. It's the floor plan of ancient Greek houses and I can't figure out each part's sizes because I don't know the name of the shape to find an internet calculator. Essentially, it's a square donut with a square hole. Thanks for taking the time to listen. 71.165.247.91 (talk) 03:27, 14 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
