Pointless ranting

Pointless ranting

In Canada this year we have had a Long Winter, the winter Snow is still on the Ground and the forecast continues cold. As a kid I remember some years where we had snow longer, more, colder temperatures, some years were warmer, less, snow. It has been up and down since I was born in the 60's. There is no constraint trend upward. The Climate is not trending catastrophically in any way.

When I was a kid, smog was a problem in cities, but now a days it is far less a problem due to optimizations and innovations.

CO2 is colourless and odourless, so any smog we see or smell, is not CO2. So why are we not correcting the real pollution. Why are we obsessing on just CO2?

CO2 is varying at a rate of 1ppm (part per million) per year, possibly. Greenhouses are at 1800ppm CO2, Classrooms measure 3500ppm, Submarines measure 8000ppm, our own breath measures as 400000ppm CO2, CO2 is toxic at 100000ppm CO2. With our atmosphere reading 400ppm CO, we will take 1000yrs to reach Greenhouse levels of Optimum plant growth. How can that be a bad thing?

CO2 has gone up, but in fact just about EVERYTHING has increased in the past 150 years. Correlation is not Causation. We are still dealing with a Hypothesis, after all these years, NOTHING has been proven as a Fact. That speaks volumes.

The Earth's Climate is NOT tracking anywhere near catastrophic outcomes, as per the failing models that can not replicate the past, let alone accurately predict the future to any degree of certainty. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrevorMarr (talkcontribs) 13:42, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

To me, in 2018, the World needs to wake up, realize fossil fuels are the cure, not a curse, understand that oil is used by everyone, everywhere, for everything... see that we will never get to the Jetson, by restricting our growth to the power of the Flintstones and declare AGW be redefined as 'Al Gore's Wrong'! You are so dishonest. You have taken the last few decades of a global temperature graph and used it to promote a global warming agenda. Previous versions of Wikipedia presented a graph of the last 800 thousand years of global temperatures. That graph clearly showed that our current temperatures are not even as high as some of of those in previously occurring temperature cycles. Grow up. You are no longer a good source of information. 2605:A000:122B:62:25A9:D9FC:1C09:3B64 (talk) 19:25, 11 November 2018 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 19:48, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
