Although Glenmore is now an authority on espionage etc, it must be remembered that he was also a highly successful DM marketing guru, having set up Trenear-Harvey, Bird and Watson, shortly to become the world's largest DM agency of its time, and was a highly creative thinker and excellent writer in the industry. He also had close links with most of the other DM gurus, such as Roger Millington and Robert Leiderman, and was an award winner. He and Roger (or possibly Drayton Bird), although I have no third-party reference for this, apparently used to generate a lot of publicity for their work through creating controversy in the marketing and advertising magazines of the time through their use of pseudonyms.
