Not sure if I'm doing this right... I know C.Fred fellow is just doing his job (more power to him, he's part of the reason Wiki works), but statements regarding the relative popularity and physical attractiveness of the Marching Unit and football team are actually a widely accepted fact at Glenelg. Would that need documentary evidence as proof? It's alright if putting that kind of information isn't allowed on Wiki (again, don't really know what I'm doing), but just thought I'd ask. Frankly, which clique is the most popular at a given school is not encyclopedic. I don't think it should be in the article at all, but if it were going in, it would need to be backed up by sources outside of the school. I'm skeptical that a professional newspaper (not the school newspaper) would make such statements in a properly-researched story, but if you can find sources that say them, list them here, and we'll work out how to put them in. —C.Fred (talk) 23:46, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

This statement is incorrent: "The second high school in Howard County, after Howard High School, Glenelg opened its doors in 1958" While it's true that Glenelg opened in 1958 (my mother was on the opening staff), it is inaccurate to say it was the second high school in Howard County. The Negro high school Harriet Tubman High School pre-dated Glenelg by decades and graduated classes through the early 1960s, when schools were integrated and it closed. The building was then used to house the Howard County Board of Education for many years after Harriet Tubman High's closure. Also prior to Glenelg's opening, the Lisbon School (generic in name since it housed students in grades 1 - 12) served western Howard County for decades, graduating many classes.
