The obvious place for mutual links would be an article on optical glass. I'm rather surprised to find that there doesn't seem to be one--it's a glaring omission. Was there one that got deleted, or maybe merged with the article on glass in general? Sam Paris (talk) 15:33, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

The classification based on refractive index and the Abbe number seems pretty good. But then, quite certainly, it cannot encapsulate all that is relevant to optical glass.
