Grant of land to John Glade

WP is the only reference I can see to Glade having purchased his original 50 acres. Several other records would seem to indicate it was a grant, e.g http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article2201339. Also, it would seem that although Billyard may have acquired land at Gladesville, that he did not subdivide and sell his section until 1859. http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article12979091 http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article13010442 --Inas66 (talk) 23:34, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Lower North Shore?

Gladesville is Northern Suburbs, not Lower North Shore. The Lower North Shore is above The CBD mostly touching The Harbour. By the time you get to Woolwich Sydney Harbour has turned into The Parramatta River. I guess you could say it's the 'North-West Shore' but Gladesville is Northern Suburbs and not Lower North Shore. 2405:6E00:48F:E430:7504:9E61:4934:8760 (talk) 09:10, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
