Suggestion edit

I suggest that a new sentence be added to the end of the initial "Construction and career" section explaining that the Reichsmarine became the Kriegsmarine in 1935. Cheers, Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 09:00, 8 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Nice idea, done. L293D ( • ) 12:22, 8 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

WWII edit

I find some of the wording re the Norwegian action to be at once odd and POV in that it implies wrongdoing on the part of the Germans. 'Despite clear orders...to fire only if fired upon...'. I'm sure that had I been in command of the German craft, I would have considered being rammed an innately hostile act and the constructive equivalent of being fired upon.Toyokuni3 (talk) 23:57, 10 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Quite honestly, I'm not sure that it was really being rammed, vs. a glancing contact. But one source says rammed...--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 00:19, 11 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

fate of the wreck edit

Is it still rusting where it ran aground, or was it later scrapped? 50.111.3.9 (talk) 13:31, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

None of my sources mentioned its ultimate fate.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:07, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
