syide publicity edit

The article contains the phrase "This prologue has obtained a syide publicity." WHat does this mean?

The "From distant climes" prologue is actually written by Henry Carter (d. 1806) according to the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations, which cites _The Australian Encyclopedia_ (1927).

I believe that the current text is taken from the Dictionary of (UK) National Biography, though I haven't checked. The Dictionary of Australian National Biography, also to the best of my recollection, says that Barrington almost certainly did not write the prologue in question. (This is consistent with the assertion about Carter writing it above, which I note is also from an Australian source.) I'm editing the main text to say that his authorship is in doubt, and at some point I will research this better and clean this up if no one else does it first.
