Why did an "anonymous" user incorrectly delete the edits I made to this page??? edit

This "anonymous" user who refuses to be identified has erroneously changed the correct information that I submitted yesterday and he (or she) arbitrarily decided to revert to the previous listing that said that Gary Dubin is still alive. I am Gary's first cousin and I was there in the room when he passed away on Saturday. Can't you please have the dignity and respect for someone who died to let them rest in peace without tarnishing their legacy by altering the facts on their wikipedia page to arbitrarily decide who is dead and who is alive? Shame on you for not at least seeking out the truth before you "anonymously" chose to delete Gary's correct information. Shame on you indeed. Pianojeffd (talk) 08:00, 11 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

We usually wait until an obituary is published by a newspaper before altering the article. Any changes to a biography need a reliable reference. Also it not a good idea for friends and relatives to hear about someones death from Wikipedia or Facebook.--Racklever (talk) 10:59, 13 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
