Slavophilism

The paragraph on Tiutchev's slavophilism seems problematic to me. Tiutchev spent a lot of his adult life in Western Europe, spoke German better than Russian by all accounts, and wrote poetry comparing the warm, pleasant South (i.e. Italy) to the cruel, inhospitable North. Puerility

Molobo, if you continue to shit in the articles on most innocent Russian personalities, I will take the article on Mickiewicz and write "he hated all the Russians and called them names" in the lead. Or about Kosciuscko: "he loved to insult Russians and wanted to kill or rape all of them". This is the only language and level of expertise you seem to understand. If you find any such statements be my guest. It would be hard since he had many Russian friends and even wrote "To my friends Moscovites". I am restoring information since you didn't post any objections instead of threats of vandalism to other articles on polish poets.The information however is easly found in link you gave yourself. --Molobo 18:35, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

Romantic poets?

Tyutchev, maybe, but Lermontov and Pushkin? Anyone who has read, at the very least, Евгений Онегин and Герой нашего времени, would tell you with the least analysis that these are not Romantic works. True, the owe a debt to Byron, but they are more mockeries of Romantic literary fashions, who is Lensky if not a skit on Romantic poets?!
