Speedy deletion edit

This article is designated as a stub, therefore it should not be considered for deletion. Chesdovi (talk) 00:57, 5 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • The stub classification does not necessarily make a page immune from speedy deletion- this article has been this length since July 2007- nobody seems to be making the effort to expand it. If substantial information showing the relevance of the topic is not added soon, then I do continue to recommend this article for deletion. Please note that I am not an administrator, simply a frequent editor, and therefore I do not have any final say in whether this article is deleted or not. A stub provides a piece of information which is too short to be considered a full article. It shouldn't be deleted just because it has not been expanded, There are thousands of important stubs, e.g: Maluku Sovereignty Front, Doratogonus praealtus and Bashgul Valley. Two years later, any reason to keep it? --ElComandanteChe (talk) 20:52, 17 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Have they been involved in any high profile activites since 2006? Chesdovi (talk) 21:14, 17 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
I found nothing interesting, but I didn't really spent more than 5 minutes. The latest thing is "A delegation from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine traveled on October 24, 2009 to the occupied Syrian Arab Golan Heights to congratulate the freed prisoners, Bisher Suleiman Ahmad Maqt and Assem Mahmud Ahmed Wali, who were released on October 15 after 24 years in the jails of the occupation." here. Not even close to notability. --ElComandanteChe (talk) 21:23, 17 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
What about in Arabic sources? Chesdovi (talk) 21:34, 17 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I love you lots too, but I don't read Arabic. Chesdovi (talk) 21:52, 17 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
  1. No one is perfect.
  2. [1] returns <100 results.

This was most likely some kind of fake stunt by the government, not a real group. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 22:08, 17 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Cool. Nominating AfD. --ElComandanteChe (talk) 22:26, 17 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Secret Resistance Movement edit

This source describes a resistance movement active 27 years ago. One member, Sidqi Al-Maqt was released yesterday from Israeli prison after serving 27 years.

I do not if Sidqi Al-Maqt was notable at the time, but now he is, as the longest serving Arab prisoner in Israel. The article could go to Secret Resistance Movement (Golan). -- Petri Krohn (talk) 18:19, 23 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

The Secret Resistance Movement is a separate group from the Front for the Liberation of the Golan. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 18:28, 23 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
