Additional material edit
Frederick William WHITEHOUSE (whose name was also his father's and grandfather's) was involved in Scouting in Queensland. This will be added in time.
His interest in climbing was also evident: One of the most notable in recent years was carried out in August last year [date not provided] when a party of three, comprising Dr F. W. Whitehouse, Jack Tregenza and Lloyd Gamble, succeeded in climbing the entire ten of the Glasshouse peaks in one day.[1] Was this after the attempt in 1937?[2] In 1933, he did five in one day.[3]
There is some other material contained in the Australian Dictionary of Biography (re criminal offence allegations).[4]

- This article also badly needs to include the material from Matthew Condon's "Little Fish Are Sweet", a substantial portion of which is about Whitehouse. The Drover's Wife (talk) 02:38, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
