Stage edit
Not my area of expertise, but I think he was a stage actor as well.
Have found a photo of Dalys Theatre (the building is now the Warner Village West End cinema, or Vue West End, or whatever it's called these days - NE corner of Leicester Square), circa 1935. He and Colin Keith-Johnston were in a play of "The First Legion", later a 1951 film.Paulturtle (talk) 00:17, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
