Hoping someone can expand this article and add appropriate images edit

A resource concerning Frank Dudley is "The Indiana Dunes Revealed - The Art of Frank V. Dudley" - Brauer Museum of Art - Valparaiso University". Edited by James R. Dabbert. (Published by U of I Press Urbana & Chicago 2006).

It contains many images of Dudley's dunes paintings as well as a history of how Dudley's work ties into the early environmental activists who helped preserve a portion of the Dunes into what is now a national park. (Heavy industry took portions of the dunes also...possibly without some activism...no portion of the Dunes would have been saved.)

Frank Dudley spent about 50 years living at least part time on the Dunes and painted many pictures of them.

The Brauer Museum staff at Valparaiso University might be able to help develop this worthy article further. They also have held one or more Dudley exhibits which were highly regarded.Lindisfarnelibrary (talk) 23:49, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
