Stanislavsky Connection

Interesting that Delsarte's method become watered down and misunderstood through transmission, and was later elaborated upon by Stanislavsky whose method has experienced a similar fate.

This is a very nice introduction to Delsarte, and does offer some appropriate challenge to the historic view. The subject of gymnastics is still not properly understood. The term "gymnastics" in the late 19'th century, merely meant exercises. Delsarte did teach exercises, therefore he taught "gymnastics."--Twisterjoe 19:45, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
