Talk:Fort Andrews

As a newcomer, I am hoping to get some advice on my first draft article (on Ft. Andrews) here, before publishing it.

I'd also like to know how to handle the situation of there being another Fort Andrews entry already on WP.

After looking briefly at the "other" entry, it appears to me that the place it describes might actually be called "Fort Andrew" (without an "s"), so that the existing Fort Andrews article would need to be (1) corrected or (2) "hatted" (along with mine?) to indicate that there are two. Note that the existing article makes reference in its text to "my" Fort Andrews in a "not to be confused with" comment.

Oh, and another question. I have a website [1] that contains a good deal more information about the fortifications and gun emplacements of Ft. Andrews, along with several galleries of original and other photographs, but I am not sure if citing it would violate WP's original research or "self-dealing" strictures. Perhaps someone could take a look at this for me. (There are a number of other forts in Boston Harbor that I will be researching that would make good WP articles, and these would also be covered by the website as it grows.
