Orphaned references in Foreign relations of Libya under Gaddafi edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Foreign relations of Libya under Gaddafi's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 12:57, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Name of article is bad edit

I think the name of the article is bad; Why can't it be Foreign relations of Libya (19??-2011) (with the exact dates specified in the article ........ or Foreign relations of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya (though I think the last word is hard to spell and so not as preferable). I just think "under Gaddafi" is not dignified and stinks of a sort of political tone of some sort. 84.203.72.5 (talk) 21:41, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Um...how so? It's exactly that - the foreign relations of Libya under Gaddafi. It wasn't a jamahiriya for the entire time Gaddafi was in power, and Gaddafi didn't take power until fairly late in 1969. -Kudzu1 (talk) 21:58, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
I agree with the IP editor. The name is not a good one. I think Foreign relations of Libya (1969-2011) is more appropriate and NPOV.--TM 22:29, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
How does including "Gaddafi" in the name suggest a POV? I'm honestly confused. -Kudzu1 (talk) 22:48, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Categories edit

The categories need to change...this is now a historic article. 84.203.72.5 (talk) 21:42, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Merge edit

This page should be merged into Foreign relations of Libya, that page lacks historical background that the contents of this page could provide. Charles Essie (talk) 18:40, 11 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
