1929 Championship

This "At least one source lists Fordham as the 1929 National Football Champions. [1]" doesn't seem right. THe link is for a guy's mathematical formula, not who is the national champion. The guy just came with a formula, sort of like the RPI in basketball, but not official or anything. I think this should be removed, or at least clarified to say "In Soren Sorenson's historical football rating method, Fordham was #1 in 1929" --AW 18:26, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Other college athletics articles go by the mascot name, for example Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Eastern Illinois Panthers, and Indiana Hoosiers. I propose renaming Fordham athletics to Fordham Rams or Fordham University Rams. Wl219 07:58, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
