That's Not How Capacitive Touch Works edit

Hardware says "When a press is detected, these capacitive sensors measure microscopic changes in the distance between the back light and the cover glass"

That's, sorta, how resistive touch worked. Capacitive is all about induced fields of electricity. Since this description is nonsense, does anyone actually know how it measures the force on top of the touch? Contact patch size? Actual force on the display??? iPhone XS has 3D Touch edit

The iPhone XS is said to have only Haptic Touch, not 3D Touch, however the iPhone XS and XS Max still featured 3D Touch (the XR did not as it was the cheaper model). Here is an article that shows this. 74.127.200.0 (talk) 04:58, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
