Talk:For the Win

For the Win edit

"For The Win." FTW, An enthusiastic emphasis to the end of a comment, message, or post. Sometimes genuine, but often sarcastic. Originated from the game show Hollywood Squares where the result of the player's response is expected to win the game. Source: Urbandictionary.com

This should be the main meaning in this article I think, but because it is regarded as vandalism to add it and move the current content to an article about the novel, I tried to create the article For the win (saying) instead. However, the article creating wizard is broken.

Expansion? edit

I find the length of this article paltry and was wondering if anyone would be willing to add to it. I don't think I have the writing skills nor the wikipedia expertise to finish it, but could post a longer summary to be revised. GeneralRobotwallah (talk) 01:51, 6 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Currently reading the book, and I think at least a plot summary would be very nice. I can write one when I'm finished, if no one else is planning to do that at the moment. Daniel kraft (talk) 13:46, 22 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sounds great, I'll add anything missed and generally help, put it up whenever. GeneralRobotwallah (talk) 19:45, 22 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've put online a summary of the first part of the book; I'll work on the other two parts over the next days, hopefully. Feel free (of course) to change the text if you have any ideas for improvement (or let me know your ideas and I'll change it accordingly). The plot seems rather convoluted to me, so I hope I got (and will get) it right. Domob (talk) 20:06, 4 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
And now part 2. Hopefully, I can complete the plot summary over the next week or so, adding part 3. Domob (talk) 19:59, 10 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Finally completed the plot summary. And it seems that the frst two parts are already reviewed (or how that's called on Wikipedia). I'd welcome comments and improvements on the summary where applicable! Domob (talk) 20:02, 2 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
