Name change edit

First - the current state of affairs concerning the name change seem to be that the process has been postponed for the time being in the official/legal sense, since there were reports of to rival congresses/conventions held during December, and one of them has protested and/or lodged a complaint with authorities about the change, which is why the Register probably hit 'pause' for the time being to see how this will end up. Currently the name 'KPV LV' still stands.

Second - the website of the party and their social media accounts still use the name KPV LV.

Finally - I do not see that any of the main English-language Latvian media outlets (eng.Lsm.lv, BNN etc.) have changed to/started to use the new name as of now.

Bearing all this in mind and using the same logic as I did in the Unity vs 'New Unity' case, a full-on use of FaHL in correct at the moment, although I guess renaming the page back to the old name is maybe too much since the official change might soon be re-submitted and accepted. Ivario as per yesterday, February 1, the name has officially – de jure in the public registry; see here – been registered as "Par Cilvecigu Latviju, Politiska partija", which was covered in multiple media outlets; see here, here, and here. Furthermore, they've changed their name on Facebook. I would thinkthat should be sufficient registration – after all, what more can be done? – to change the article to use PCL instead of KPV LV. | LinguineFusilli (talk) 07:11, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
OK, if all of the claims of the rival convention have been overruled by the RoE without right of appeal, go ahead. Ivario (talk) 22:44, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Well, it seems the dispute hasn't ended ("The former KPV LV board will be demanded a refund for the unauthorized change of party name" - LSM.lv)... Ivario (talk) 23:41, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
