Needs edit

Article needs list/chart of font managers. --x1987x 02:29, 3 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Too much info on one application edit

I believe a previous contributor has included too much information on one particular application. Suitcase, giving the article an unintended bias. I intend to remove some of this content from this article, and move it to an article on Suitcase, unless someone posts a convincing argument against such a change, within, say, 30 days.Gladmax 14:07, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

What about Linux font managers edit

Can you please mention to the public at large any font managers available for use on a Linux PC? This wiki doesn't even mention anything to do with Linux font management.

Requested move edit

I don't think the term "Font-management program" is appropriate for this article. I think "Font management software" would be more appropriate. --Hm2k (talk) 16:01, 29 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

No response in a few days, I don't think anyone would mind, so have gone ahead with a bold move. --Hm2k (talk) 13:07, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Needs edit

This article completely omits font management software topics which require client-server architecture (shared font management, fonts in creative workflows in the enterprise, etc.). Arguably this is a more important aspect of font management software in the enterprise than management of fonts on an individual, isolated desktop. cleanup edit

I started a major cleanup. I think the list of software still needs a lot of attention, it could be a valuable resource for those looking for software, if a few columns are added.
