Adding "Emo" as a genre?

edit

Many sources state this as an "emotional ballad" or an "emotional song", so could I add emo as a genre?

EDIT: I added it as a genre and cited multiple sources— Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikipageedittor099 (talkcontribs) 03:35, 25 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

"Emotional" does not = emo. Andre666 (talk) 08:53, 25 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
I realize that, but I found multiple sources calling it an "emo song".Wikipageedittor099 (talk) 13:17, 25 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
The sources you used were not reliable, so I have reverted the change again. Andre666 (talk) 14:47, 25 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I've had this problem a lot. What makes a source reliable and/or unreliable?Wikipageedittor099 (talk) 14:50, 25 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

source for emo valid?

edit

I'm not saying I disagree with the song being labelled as 'emo', but is the MetalSucks source really reliable? I think that site is generally considered valid, but that review there is full of bias and straight-up hate, so I don't think it's worthy of a reference. --Solitude6nv5 (talk) 21:21, 25 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure that even matters. I've heard MetalSucks say things I've disagreed with on several occasions, but apparently their credentials are valid. They call Guns N' Roses's last album nu metal. dannymusiceditor Speak up! 21:37, 25 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
