I hope it's recognised that the name is this band is a song made in the late 70s by the Rezillos. 146.90.64.43 (talk) 18:52, 20 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Pearce has specifically said that the band didn't get its name from the Rezillos song. Ergative rlt (talk) 18:18, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
that’s hard to believe, though havnt found a source linking the two. Ceoil (talk) 19:06, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Speed Kills issue 7, pg. 37: "It's an accident that we've got the same name as one of their songs. It really is." Ergative rlt (talk) 19:32, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ergative rlt, nice work. IMO the Rezillos song is quite basic. As an aside "Flying Saucer Attack" is one of tyhe all time great band names, up there with "Guided By Voices". Ceoil (talk) 21:03, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
