Great work. I am looking forward to seeing the polished article. Some suggestions:

Put title of entry at beginning.
Not clear to me why "History of the Medici" is a section in the article. Maybe rename "Role of the Medici Family in Creating the Ghetto" or something like that. Look at other ghetto articles and see if there is some pattern to how they do this.
"Jewish governors in 1608 and 1620" - explain this term. What are these "Jewish governors"? What was the name of this role in Italian? Could be another Wikipedia entry.
"Contributions" section at end is very vague. More explanation required.
Final draft of your entry will need footnotes with page references.
