I started this article, but live far from Newport News and so cannot consult any local clippings file, much less take/post a photo of the subject, so I'm taking off the Under Construction label. Clearly, the article has at least a minor time problem, with Davis graduating from college in 1945 and beginning work in the newly constructed Carver High (now named after her) in 1949. I also don't know which of the Indiana University campuses she attended (i.e. where her children went to school). Any help would be appreciated.Jweaver28 (talk) 14:03, 23 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
