Talk:Flex nib

There seems to be a Catch 22 going re criticism of this page from people who don't know anything about the subject matter. The best reference to flex nibs on the Internet is that of a pen restorer at http://www.richardspens.com/?page=ref_info/nib_beyond.htm ..however someone seems to feel this shouldn't be used because the same website is used to advertise his business. Once the link is removed, people complain about the lack of links.

Imo ***the link should stay*** The Wiki is clear of much more obviously commercial links - e.g. pages on a company link to their webpage, even when there is nothing there but PR. The material linked to is authoritative, unbiased, and has no real acceptable subject on the Net, and an understanding fo what flex nibs are is essential to understanding pre-40's writing instruments. The link to RichardsPens.com is dead, though I think it was fine to have in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.14.154.43 (talk) 04:56, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
