No, not really. The article is about the Finnish battalion that was founded in 1818 and raised to "guards'" status in 1829. It was a part of the military of the Grand Duchy of Finland, and used Russian as the command language, Swedish as its internal language of administration and Finnish and Swedish as training languages. The L.G. Finlandsky was a regiment founded in 1798 or so, which was recruited from Ingermanland, which had no connection to the Grand Duchy and which was completely Russian unit.
