Beer tray::

Hadn't Spider given up banging his head with the beer tray by the time the song was recorded? (37.30.85.85 (talk) 22:06, 11 December 2012 (UTC))Reply

I'm not sure but could it be that the video was filmed also on the roof of Casa Batlló? I think at the beginning of the video jem finer stands in front of the dragon's spine roof arch. 93.204.105.181 (talk) 07:07, 1 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

About Uranga's kiosk and Chochona dolls:

The melody of this song was inspired, indeed, while the major feast in Almeria, "Feria de Almería", by short pieces of music ("Liechtensteiner Polka") included in a exhausting, repeating, loudly recorded speech from the food stall or stand of "Hamburguesas Uranga" (Uranga's Burguer, and not "Salchichas Uranga" -Uranga's sausages-, this last name is not right although in that kiosk burgers and sausages were sold equqlly). In addition several raffles in fair ground were also loudly and repeatedly announcing their "muñeca Chochona" (Chochona doll) in a non-easily-explainable mix of funny and catchy lure to atract people to their bussiness, and these "Chochona dolls" were just the aim for the fury in the song.

About the "inspiring" hotel:

As far as I know the loudy Almeria's night while in Feria was as a Chinese torment for Finer in his hotel room trying to sleep (but not sure about the details). I'm not sure about the hotel they stayed as I read two versions, one of them point at "Gran Hotel Almeria" and the other one at "Hotel Torreluz". If I had to choose I think the "Gran Hotel" could be the correct because these two reasons: this hotel were just on the fair site (a few meters from the park and the port where the feast was installed by that time) and this hotel was also used to shoot some scenes for the film "Straight to Hell" which was the cause to stay in Almeria. It's normal that short billed movie used the same hotel to stay and to shoot. The "Hotel Torreluz" is not so close to park and port and I'm sure the noise from the "fiesta" wouldn't be enough to disturb Finer if stayed there.

To correct/complete the article for "Fiesta" (The Pogues song) I would include some of these details: Jem Finer was inspired in the fairground of the major feast of Almeria by the lure musical refrain from "Hamburguesas Uranga" stall (not "Salchichas Uranga") and the repetitive speech from raffles about their popular toy in fairs named "muñeca Chochona" (something like a Cabbage Patch Kids doll). The attack to these Chochona dolls in the lyrics and in the videoclip is explained by that exhausting, loud speech wich didn't let Finer to sleep in his room of "Gran Hotel Almeria" while staying to participate with the other members of The Pogues (and Elvis Costello, Joe Strummer from The Clash...) in the filming of the western "Straight to Hell" directed by Alex Cox in August, 1987. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.156.113.41 (talk) 13:37, 10 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

About the kiosk melody:

I'm not from Almería, but I'm from Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, and I'm pretty sure the food stalls in most major Ferias are the same as these are itinerant affairs; and I don't remember Hamburguesas Uranga having a particularly distinctive lure melody, but I remember for a fact that the Liechtensteiner's Polka was the lure music of a different stand, "El Ventorrillo Argentino", which specialized in grilled meat. 217.217.86.192 (talk) 16:58, 9 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
