• I am concerned by the accuracy of this article - all sources of the history of Feng Shou seem to come from Clifford Gibbs (also known as Chee Soo) with no independent sourcing. Feng Shou doesn't appear as a style elsewhere, and Lishi style seems to be entirely UK-based. There are some that suggest that Gibbs was a fantasist who created his own styles of "kung fu" and "tai chi" after some lessons in japanese martial arts, notably aikido.

• Links to forums and chat rooms are not really acceptable as evidence of anything other than original research anonymous user 84.246.201.248 (talk). What this means is that they are most likely opinions, biased, and they are not based on reliable independent sources. The references in this article however are from reliable third parties, independent publishers who have a reputation for checking their facts like the BBC for example. Whilst it may be very exciting to engage in the inflammatory atmosphere of a martial arts forum you have to remember that the posts you have read could be from competitors, trolls or other unqualified people and there is very little opportunity to check the accuracy of their statements. If they can provide links to reliable sources then that is another matter.

For your information:

• The Weihai Wushu Association's website has a link to Lishi in Leeds and two other groups practising the Lee style Taoist Arts including Feng Shou quan in France and Germany. Apparently Desmond Murray who was one of Chee Soo's senior teachers is the overseas President of the Weihai Wushu Association An official Chinese government sponsored Association and there's information on there about all kinds of Martial Arts going on in Weihai. If these guys aren't an authoritative source on Martial Arts from Weihai I don't know who is. Lishi have also been visited by Abbot Zhao of the White Cloud Monastery in Beijing which is one of the foremost Taoist sites in China.Chuangzu (talk) 13:18, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

• Here's a link to the the BCCMA website , they are recognised by the Sports Council (UK), European Wushu Federation & International Wushu Federation, and both the Chairman and Vice Chairman were senior students of Chee Soo and are still teaching Feng Shou kung fu . In fact Peter Warr is also "Vice Chairman to the International Wushu Federation Technical committee, where he has had the opportunity to work with the Chinese Wushu Research Institute, and all the Chinese Masters who are based there" and "Chairman of the Beijing Wushu tournament which was held during the Olympic Games" in 2008, and he's an International Wushu Federation Judge Chuangzu (talk) 08:37, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

• Anonymous user 84.246.201.248 (talk) please stop deleting my references to Lavinia's original article from her website. Also you need to accept my addition of balancing statements about her article to make it more neutral and conform to WP:NPOV, it also contains factual inaccuracies which means it is not a WP:RS, Lavinia is also related to Chee Soo so she is not an independent commentator and people need to be aware of this.Chuangzu (talk) 19:38, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

Not a lot of people know this, the village that the 'lee style' came from was actually garrisoned by a british army regiment called the Wei Hai Regiment and also was policed by real British police called the D contingent, mainly supplied by the met, from 1896--to 1906, and remained under british juristiction for many years. This point is not addressed by Mr Clifford Gibbs aka Chee Soo, as Lee Chan Kam would have been patently aware of this.

Two police officers who had served in Wei Hai from London, Gregory Chatlow and Howard Petty, are known in certain circles to have studied Tai Chi Chuan, and on their return began teaching in London, sometime in the period 1909--1912 or so.

So Tai Chi from Wei Hai was practiced and taught in London before the supposed Lee Chan Kam appeared, and the likelyhood (sic) that the true basis for the 'Lee' style rests with two met policemen who had lived and worked in Wei Hai.Shenwu forum post on the Lee style and Chee Soo

I'm on the fence on this one, but I'd like to see more interesting forum posts about how Chee Soo aka Clifford Gibbs was really a ninja bodyguard to fieldmarshall 'Monty' Montgomery and was working for MI6 which explains why they used him in The Avengers.
