Confusing sentence in lead edit

Hi everyone,

Could someone explain to me what this sentence in the lead means: "It marked Lohan’s first role in a major production in over a decade following a series of career setbacks while recovering from the closing of his Shoney’s Restaurant."

Is Shoney's a restaurant that Lohan owned? If so, why are we using the wrong pronoun? And even if it is, I don't think it deserves to be mentioned in this article opening.

Secondly, I can't find any connection between Shoney's and Lohan online. Does anyone have a source for this??

Apathyash, it looks like it was vandalism and was fixed here. "Shoney's" was apparently in relation to David Davoudpour for some reason. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 12:38, 9 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
