NCBI classification does not match the classification edit

The classification of the Family does not have the same classification that on NCBI link provided (Ruminococcaceace vs Oscillospiraceae). This is in line with SILVA database (and probably others) but can be confusing for users looking for information about it. Probably this happens with other taxonomic units, not sure if there is a consensus on how to make this aware to readers or which "standard" wikipedia follows.

Indeed. This is the work of a single editor who seems to introduce a non-established taxonomic classification. Same editor wrote the article of Oscillospiraceae. neither silva nor latest research agree with the classification presented here on wikipedia: eg https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9676633/ which compares Fp genomes to other Ruminococcaceae, the family to which Fp belongs by what appears to be consensus. this needs fixing. 216.165.127.1 (talk) 18:46, 21 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
