Can someone please change this sentence in the deficiency section. "Deficiency does not cause excessive hemorrhage as the other coagulation factors make up for the it". Do I even need to explain?

Deficiency edit

I changed the Deficiency section to reflect factor XIIa's apparent lack of involvement in thrombin formation.

Suggested change to diagram: surely the important part of the activation of factor XII is polyphosphates from platelets, not " damaged surface " http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/117993487/home Journal of Haemostasis and Thrombosis April 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hreid11 (talkcontribs) 03:45, 23 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Heart disease edit

Another indication that we've been all wrong about factor XII for decades. The lower the FXII activity, the higher the risk for coronary heart disease doi:10.1111/j.1538-7836.2007.02839.x JFW | T@lk 21:22, 22 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

There were found links to FXII and multiples sclerosis wouldnt it be interesting in the wiki article ? Can someone maybe research this with a little more background knowledge ? It would also be interesting to know which substances influence that factor. like infestine-4 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.191.19.138 (talk) 16:37, 6 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
