Sorted into series edit

I've tried sorting Busby's novels into the various series they belong to. This should be regarded as tentative, because differing sources seem to sort the books into series differently, and disagree about what books belong to what series. But it's a start, at least - and if I can find information that seems more reliable, I will update it. Perhaps someone who's read all the books can sort them properly. M.J.E. Moved "Islands of Tomorrow" to the non-series novels" section. Following the list here, I tried reading Slow Freight, followed by Islands.. and then Arrow from Earth.. Islands of tomorrow simply has nothing to do with the series. Zebragrrl (talk) 14:18, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Did some more cleaning up of the books list. "The Rebel Dynasty" is actually two volumes, and is an omnibus reprinting of the four books in the "Rebel" series. On that point, however, I am unsure of the "story flow order" of these books, as "Alien Debt" proclaims itself a sequel to "Rissa Kerguelen" (aka "Young Rissa). Publishing dates may be all we can go on, for the purposes of list order on Wikipedia. I also added a section for "Short Story Collections" below the "Non-Series Novels" section, and listed all the short stories contained in "Getting Home" (since I had the book itself to look at, and the page previously mentioned "The Learning of Eeshta" and "If This is Winnekta, You Must Be Judy"). I'm not sure how to deal with "The Learning of Eeshta" since it is both a short story printed in "Getting Home" AND a part of the "Demu" story flow. It's a shame that 'Learning' wasn't published in the Demu Trilogy Omnibus. Zebragrrl (talk) 13:40, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nevermind, I feel totally dumb. In doing a little more research, (actually opening the book) I discovered that "The Learning of Eeshta" *WAS* printed in The Demu Trilogy, so the printed Table of Contents" in The Demu Trilogy clearly answers at least the proper story order for THAT series (Cage, Learning, Proud, then End). All These Earths edit

While reading my first F. M. Busby book, All These Earths, the suspicion grew that the four sections had previously appeared as individual short stories. A trip over to ISFDB confirmed it, so this entry has been amended this date. Tom Dean (talk) 17:38, 26 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Renalle Kerguelen edit

Apparently there's another novel, Renalle Kerguelen, about Rissa's other daughter. I've seen the Amazon listing, Kindle edition only, published 5 Sept 2015. Presumably this is from Busby's heirs, from rummaging in old notes. If there's someone knowledgeable enough to add it to the page, it would be appreciated. I haven't read it or found anything conclusive about the publication history beyond the Amazon listing at www.amazon.com/Renalle-Kerguelen-F-M-Busby-ebook/dp/B0150S79DW
