Talk:Eyak, Alaska

Actually, the State of Alaska says it's part of Cordova corporate limits. This has been an ongoing problem, with alleged community articles being created strictly from GNIS entries, despite these communities actually being within a city or a CDP. At the rate things have been going, I'm not sure that's going to be corrected anytime soon.RadioKAOS (talk) 18:51, 3 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

The coords I just entered were from Dictionary of Alaska Place Names, which may actually be of a historic community which is now just a quiet neighborhood, based on what I could tell from Google Maps satellite view. That which I refer to above may be the current Eyak native village, which definitely is little more than a neighborhood of the city of Cordova. Then again, not enough context is presented in this article to really sort it out. RadioKAOS  – Talk to me, Billy 23:48, 9 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
