  • ... that development on the video game Expeditions: Rome was not affected by lockdowns from the COVID-19 pandemic because the developer Logic Artists was already split between Copenhagen and Istanbul? Source: https://gamerant.com/expeditions-rome-interview/ "We were fortunately not very impacted by the lockdown. As far as I recall, Logic Artists was the first game studio in Denmark to send everyone home in early 2020. We watched the pandemic closely from the start and always took it very seriously, and fortunately nobody on the team has had the virus to our knowledge. Because we had already set up the studio to collaborate closely with our Istanbul studio and other international partners, the transition to fully remote work was seamless."
    • ALT1: ... that after the developers of Expeditions: Rome announced plans to create a new company that focused on NFT games, the publishers stated that the game had no connections to the blockchain? Source: [1]: "Expeditions: Rome launched yesterday, and while the response to the RPG game has been broadly positive, there’s been a niggling fear in the minds of series fans. The founders behind developer Logic Artists previously announced that they were founding a new studio focused on NFT games, leaving the future of the Expeditions series in question." [...] "Dynasty Studios and its blockchain tech are not involved with THQ Nordic or the Expeditions series. “Expeditions: Rome does not include any kind of NFT and has no links to the blockchain. It’s just a great CRPG, and part of its original development team has decided to move on to a new adventure with Dynasty Studios.”

  •   Article is new, long enough, and appears to conform to relevant policies. The hook is interesting, concise and is cited. However, the hook mentions COVID-19 by name but the article doesn't; I suggest that the article do this. Mattythewhite (talk) 02:00, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
    • @Mattythewhite: Good catch! Added in a reference to it. Nomader (talk) 19:51, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
      • I also slightly modified the language in the hook to specify lockdowns from COVID-19 instead of just COVID-19. Nomader (talk) 17:02, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
