Reoccurring Event edit

  • Is this a reoccurring event? The title and opening sentence gives the impression it is, but the article appears wholly devoted to 2004. Sabre ball (talk) 17:05, 3 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • No, this only occurred in 2004. Marcd30319 (talk) 00:44, 8 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

U.S. Sixth Fleet edit

Contrary to popular misconceptions, the United States Sixth Fleet includes both the Mediterranean Sea and the Eastern Atlantic Ocean.Marcd30319 (talk) 03:33, 28 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

In the 2004 command history of the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75), its chronology for that year (Enclosure 3) clearly states that the "C6F In-chopped 28 Jul 04", translation: the USS Harry Truman changed of operation ("in-chop') to the Commander Sixth Fleetof operation on 28 July 2004.Marcd30319 (talk) 10:57, 28 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Per this edit, the Sixth Fleet area of responsibility expansion happened on 1 October 2000, in the last days of LANTCOM. Buckshot06 (talk) 04:49, 25 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
