Is this a wikipedia article or a student paper? I've read most of the first half hoping to find out what an exchange value actually *is*, and all I'm learning is what it *isn't*. Plus irrelevant asides about shiny cars that taste of lemons or somesuch bollocks.

Perhaps someone who knows what they're talking about might like to try their hands at a rewrite. It would be greatly appreciated

The article could do with more discussion of Adam Smith.--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 14:49, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

The last section of this article, specifically the section about criticism against Marxist theory, reads like a college essay rather than an encyclopedia, and could be a legitimate target for NPOV concerns 130.49.61.248 (talk) 10:07, 20 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
